Another day driving Yellowstone

Today we drove from the west entrance towards Norris and then Canyon and Tower Falls and then to Lamar Valley and the northeast entrance. We saw lots of bison and elk, one elk close up with antlers, a coyote, some pronghorn, some long-horned sheep, a marmot, a rabbit, some deer and a bald eagle sitting near it's nest. We also saw an osprey nest, but the sun was setting and I couldn't get a picture.

It was beautiful when we drove over Mt. Washburn and you could just see forever! Here are some of today's highlights. Click on them to enlarge.
